Presenter's Bio: 

Tracey is an IACP accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and lecturer. She has a master's degree in child and adolescent counselling.  She has worked previously in Pieta House and various community counselling organisations: a programme event co-ordinator, private pratice work. Her vast experience working with suisidal ideation clients will bring a high level of training to this workshop.


Event Outline:

A day to delve into and explore the possible cost to the therapist and how to engage the supports the therapist needs.

  •  Understanding the impact and challenges faced by therapists working with Suicide ideation
  •  Understanding the importance and reasoning behind the language when talking about Suicide 
  •   Understanding and evaluating personal bias
  •  Understanding and the impact of vicarious trauma for the therapist
  •  Evaluate self care techniques and how to improve self care habits
    CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance.
