Strategy 1 of the IACP’s Research Strategy 2021-2025 is ‘Advise on research issues and policies relating to research in counselling/psychotherapy and the mental health field’. As a part of this strategy the Research Committee has carried out a piece of desk research of existing issues and policies relating to research in counselling/psychotherapy and the mental health field and has drawn up a document with key points of interest for IACP members.
The document – ‘Research Issues and Policies, Part 1’ - introduces research related issues and policies in the counselling/psychotherapy and mental health field. Links to other key documents and open access journals and resources are included.
