Affiliate Membership

The Affiliate Membership category is currently closed. 

An Affiliate Member may use the title "Affiliate Member IACP" (the exact phrase only). They may not use the initials AIACP or MIACP

The category of Affiliate Member is not a certification of competence to practice as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist. Affiliate Membership does not entitle the holder to practice as an IACP accredited member or to represent themselves as an expert in the field of Counselling/Psychotherapy.


The main benefits of IACP Affiliate Membership are:

Quarterly Journal: The IACP journal 'the Irish Journal of Counselling & Psychotherapy' including articles, ‘Notice Board’ which contains organisational updates and Advertising is sent to members four times a year.

E-news: Regular e-mail circular containing information relating to the profession and employment/placement opportunities.

Members Area: access to the Members Area of the IACP website. 

Reduced rate to attend the IACP Annual Conference: The IACP annual conference is a great opportunity to engage with members and to hear high quality keynote speakers.
