MRC - The Body Talks! Introduction to Body Psychotherapy with tips & tools for your Practice
Presenters Bio:
Ger is an accredited psychotherapist with IAHIP, with over 30 years experience in practice and he has delivered psychotherapy training for 25 years.
Workshop Outline:
Three hour workshop will offer a theoretical background to the field of Body Psychotherapy, consider the application of a Character Structure Model, Introduce tools for a practical application of Body Psychotherapy with self and client. It will discuss ethical issues and explore issues of the relational dynamic in therapeutic contact, including transference and counter transference. There will be experienctial break-out groups and Q&A.
