Presenters Bio:

Breda is IACP and BACP accredited therapist and Course Director for Postgraduate and master’s programme in Community Youth Work at Ulster University Magee and CPD Short Courses (Level M). Her doctoral research area is suicide prevention policy in Ireland. Specialising in trauma debriefing and critical incident responses, Breda works with statutory and C&V agencies in managing resources and support following critical events. Breda is founding member of Insight Inishowen, a suicide prevention C&V organisation in Donegal, Ireland and she is Director of the Inishowen Mindfulness Centre. 


Evening Outline: 

Covid- 19 has presented a unique an unprecedented challenge across all levels of community and wider society. In this workshop we will examine the emerging themes and issues that are and may present in the therapeutic space. The workshop will consider the narrative of covid, in the community and from the perspective of those impacted directly by illness and loss.
