PARENTAL ALIENATION AWARENESS CONFERENCE

For PROFESSIONALS

This inaugural conference for social, legal and mental health professionals, organised by Alienated Children's Advocates (ACA) and sponsored by Changes Counselling & Psychotherapy Ltd., is our starting point.

ACA aims to organise seminars for Parents and Children at various locations around the island of Ireland.

Conference Aim

The aim of this conference targeted to professionals, is to raise awareness and address the knowledge gap about parental alienation in Ireland, to build an understanding of the experience of children and young adults and their families affected by this issue. Parental alienation is the process and the result of the psychological manipulation of a child or a young adult into showing unwarranted fear, disrespect or hostility towards a parent and family members and a rejection of a relationship with the alienated parent.
