Present a Workshop entitled: Working with Anxiety
Presenters Bio: Dr Harry Barry is a medical doctor and author based in Drogheda. He is especially interested in the area of mental health issues eg. depression, addiction and anxiety, regularly participating on various media platforms to discuss mental health. He is author of six books.
Workshop Outline: Dr. Barry will demonstrate the role of neuroscience in the causation and treatment of anxiety and panic. He will show how to empower clients through psychoeducation of their issue and identifying how to cope with their symptoms through lifestyle changes and exercise as well as use of CBT and mindfulness techniques. Attendees will gain an understanding of how changes in the brain come about to block lifelong anxiety and panic.
