American speakers will include a Vice-President of the National Board of Certified Counselors-International, a counsellor who is also an attorney, counselling university professors, and experienced counselling practitioners.

This event is a great opportunity to interact informally with Irish and American counsellors and exchange the knowledge around the counselling practices within both jurisdictions. The event is open to all IACP Members, please note the number of places is limited to 100.

Event Lead: Professor Theodore P. Remley

Presenters Bio: Theodore P. Remley, Jr. is a professor of counselling and is the Booth-Bricker Endowed Professor at Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Remley holds a Ph.D. in Counsellor Education from the University of Florida and a law degree (J.D.) from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of Chi Sigma Iota. He is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Florida. 

Ticket includes full attendance, 1 tea/coffee, lunch and refreshments at the Dakota Bar.

Training: All Levels

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance.
