Presenters Bios:

Denise Wogan is a member of IACP and member of the NERC. She specialised in Nutrition and healthy eating in her private psychotherapeutic practice. Denise is widely regarded on social media and local print and broadcast media (regularly contributes as a nutrition specialist on LMFM Radio) in her specialist area.

She is an integrative professional dedicated to guiding individuals towards improved wellbeing. As a Nutritional Therapist, Intuitive Eating Counsellor, and ICF ACC Life Coach, she specialises in addressing disordered eating, offering practical strategies and fostering a health supportive relationship with food. Denise, also an Eating Freely Trainer, provides evidence-based support for emotional eating and binge eating disorders. With ongoing professional development as a psychotherapist, Denise ensures a comprehensive and holistic approach to helping clients enhance both their physical and mental wellbeing.


Guest contributor: Dr. Manish Tomar holds Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Cologne University and a Masters in Genetics from Gualier University, India. He is a regular contributor to IACP regional presentations and workshops.


Event Outline:

This workshop offers a unique amalgamation of psychology, neuroscience, nutrition sciences, and holistic health practices. We will introduce the intricate connections between dietary choices and mental wellness, gaining profound insights into the Gut-Brain Axis and the transformative impact of stress and hormones on hunger and eating behaviors.

Subsequently we will explore the complexities of Disordered Eating and confront the pervasive trauma of diet culture, while embracing the empowering principles of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating.


CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Event.
